Hi Kids! It's circus time and Jumbo Circus is in town with its acrobats, dances and special animal shows. You can see bears on cycles, a mouse on a rock-n-roll string, elephants on a ball and a lot of other exciting items.
The final act of elephant starts with lot of enthusiasm . The little elephant, Jumbo joins the act of balancing with his long ears but ruins the entire item. The audience makes fun of Jumbo and start shouting "he is a Dumbo.and makes fun of his long ears "they all create a havoc and break the furniture while leaving the circus. Everybody is upset, Jokers & other elephants make fun of the baby elephant and also call him Dumbo!! ,but when his mother starts beating the jokers for misbehaving with her son, she is put inside a big cage.
After being shunned by his fellow elephants and treated as a stooge by the circus clowns, the baby elephant befriends a mouse named Timothy who protects him from the humiliation of others and even teaches him one item of the circus. But, the jealous jokers spoil the whole show by making him a joker who jumps from tall tower into a garbage bin. This is very humiliating for Jumbo and he thinks that he is s burden on this planet and a trouble for his mother, but Timothy motivates him and helps him to sleep.
 Jumbo goes off to sleep and the next morning finds himself on a tree. The crows around makes fun of him and throw him off the tree. Dumbo and Timothy wonder how they got on the tree. One of the crows on the tree makes a mockery and sarcastically tell him that he must have flown in. It strikes Timothy that Dumbo can fly with the help of his big ears. Jumbo try's again to fly ,but falls flat ,all the crow's make fun of him. But one old Crow motivates him and tells that he can fly and gives him a magical feather and tells him to put on his Cap with which he can fly.
With the help of the old crow, Jumbo starts flying. The next day in the circus, is the great day when Jumbo becomes world's first Flying elephant.
Jumbo thanks the old crow for the magical feather, but the crow tells him that it was just a normal feather to boost his morale.
Jumbo is now more happy as he could now fly himself and thanks all his friends. His mother is really proud as everyone apologizes for their behavior.
Here after everyone calls him Hay Jumbo and not Hey Dumbo. |
