Miracles do happen! And that is what "Billi Nache Thumak Thumak" is all about.
It is the story of three brothers who have lost their Father. The elder Brother inherits a horse. The middle one an ass and the youngest one a black cat. The youngest brother who receives the cat is mocked and insulted at by his brothers, as a donkey and horse can be used for domestic help, but a cat is worthless.
However, this cat is not an ordinary one as she can dance and sing and win the hearts of millions. She plans to avenge her master's insult. During the course of the story she enters a busy market place and wins a heart of many by her scintillating dance performances, thereby making big money. She uses this money to present a sword to the "King" on behalf of her master.
She boasts of her master being wealthy and invites the king to their "palace" (which never existed).The master gets very tense by the situation created by his pet. As the story progresses further the cat proves her wit by bluffing a magician and capturing the castle. The king is overwhelmed to see the castle and riches and gives his only
daughter in marriage to her master along with one-third of his wealth.
